Infant sleep is something that isn’t quite as straight forward as we would like! Babies don’t fit a ‘one size fits all’ mould, they are not robots and each one is very different from the next. You probably have a friend that has a baby that easily adjusts and goes with the flow, falls asleep anywhere, never gets overtired and sleeps well overnight. Oh, the envy, right?! Then there are some babies that are a lot more sensitive to being over tired, need more structure and are harder to get to sleep or stay asleep. I am here to help you navigate this world, to guide you back to a more well rested and settled baby. Say goodbye to sleep deprivation and hello to a happier, more relaxed parental journey.
My own journey with sleep hasn’t been smooth sailing, I have been in the throes of sleep deprivation myself, so anxious about sleep and scared to go anywhere in case my baby screamed the place down.
I know and I understand how bad it can get, I have been where you are now.
However, I am now grateful for my first-hand experience of this and my knowledge of allergies and anaphylaxis, lip and tongue ties, silent reflux, eczema, asthma and now juvenile type 1 diabetes just to name a few. This experience combined with my passion for sleep has made me the compassionate sleep consultant I am today.
My methods work with you to suit your chosen parenting style. Even if it is just a few tweaks here or there or my one-on-one support.
The hardest part is acknowledging that sleep deprivation isn’t working for you or your family. The next hardest part is reaching out for help.
I look forward to working with you.
